   Why      Propranolol is a non-selective beta-blocker that dampens excess sympathetic drive to the
            heart, easing symptomatic palpitations once dangerous causes have been excluded; it
            controls the symptom rather than treating an underlying arrhythmia.
   Caution  MANDATORY to exclude red flags (syncope, chest pain, family history of sudden death,
            structural heart disease) before symptomatic therapy.
            CONTRAINDICATED in asthma/bronchospasm, severe COPD, second- or third-degree heart
            block, severe bradycardia, and cardiogenic shock.
            Address lifestyle triggers (reduce caffeine, energy drinks, nicotine, alcohol) and
            reassure regarding benign palpitations.
