Musculoskeletal neoplasms of uncertain or intermediate biological behavior (such as giant cell tumor of bone, desmoid fibromatosis, or chondroblastoma) commonly present as localized persistent bone pain, swelling, or an enlarging deep soft-tissue mass. In primary care, perform plain radiographs and arrange urgent MRI of the affected anatomical area to evaluate cortical integrity and soft-tissue extension. Strictly avoid attempting in-clinic needle aspiration, incision, or incomplete excision, as this risks seeding surrounding tissue planes; refer urgently to a specialized multidisciplinary orthopedic oncology center for definitive core biopsy, staging, and surgical planning. - Refer, with advice
